Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has told Chelsea to forget about their left-back Alex Sandro this summer.

He told reporters after their final pre-season game against Roma: “Alex Sandro? He’s a Juventus player, he’s extraordinary and he won’t leave us. He’s improved so much since he came to Juve and he has the margins to improve again. Along with Marcelo, he’s one of the best in the world.”

However, Sky Italia reporter Luca Marchetti claims Chelsea will launch one last bid for the Brazilian.

He told Tutto Mercato Web Radio: “[Juventus manager, Massimiliano] Allegri is not a person who is unbalanced, so I think he [Sandro] will stay at Juventus.

“But I think Chelsea will try to make another attempt, so we can say that Juventus could be under attack from Europe.

“[Paulo] Dybala and Alex Sandro are important for The Bianconeri who have the strength to keep them both.”
