Kenedy started his Chelsea career with some bright displays under former bosses Jose Mourinho and Guus Hiddink, but since the departure of the latter, his career has been going down and down.
His stint while on pre-season in China didn’t do his career any good and after a half-a-season loan to forget in Watford last season, the 21-year-old Brazilian will join Newcastle on loan this season.
Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez has admitted his frustration at the lack of transfer activity so far this summer on Tyneside.
“It is very hard because the prices are crazy,” he said.
“We missed some targets at the beginning and we are paying for that, but hopefully we can find some solutions.”
He will now have the delight in signing the versatile left footed Kenedy who can play as a wing-back, full-back and winger.
Can Kenedy save his career with this move? Only him can answer this question with unquestionable performances.
