Chelsea striker Loic Remy is still without a club heading into the new season and reports claim Chelsea are in talks with Newcastle United over a loan move for Remy before the transfer window closes.
Remy isn’t part of Antonio Conte’s plans for the new season and needs to find a new club before the transfer deadline day.
Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez is said to be interested in bringing Remy back to St James Park where he previously spent a successful loan spell during his time at Queens Park Rangers.
However, if the Magpies sign Remy on loan, they won’t be able to sign Kenedy – although the deal has already been placed on hold until Chelsea sign enough players this summer.
Clubs in Serie A and La Liga are also looking at signing the Frenchman and the 30-year-old striker will have a big decision to make over his next destination in his career, with the transfer window closing in less than a week’s time.
