Alvaro Morata joined Chelsea from Real Madrid this summer for a club record fee and Chelsea captain Gary Cahill believes the Spanish striker can handle the pressure of playing for Chelsea.
“He’s been very good,” Cahill said, when asked about Morata.
“Obviously it’s early days because we’ve only had him for a short while but he’s settled in very well and there are a lot of Spanish players in our team.
“He obviously has a huge reputation and great pedigree. Even at a young age, you look at what he has won so far, so in terms of the pressure of playing for Chelsea, I’m sure he can handle that no problem. He’s a great addition for us.”
