After a season of being absent from the UEFA Champions League, Chelsea are now back to the competition after winning the Premier League last season.

Victor Moses who hasn’t featured in the Champions League since the 2013/14 campaign will have an opportunity to do so this season, and the Nigeria international is excited about it.

He told the official Chelsea website: “It is good for a great club like us to be playing Champions League again. We missed it last season, it was disappointing we were not in it. Now we are back in it and that is where we should be. We will do the best we can to make the fans happy and we will take each group stage game as it comes.”

But before then there is important Premier League business to deal with, and Moses has admitted that the team is working hard in that aspect.

He added: “We did not start the season the way everyone expected. But last week we were back like ourselves and we just want to stick together as a team and keep working hard in training, bring that to the game and try to win.”
