There’s so much pressure on the latest Chelsea signing Alvaro Morata after the Blues paid a club record £60 million to sign the Spain international from Real Madrid.
The Premier League season is yet to begin and the media have heaped so much pressure on the 24-year-old, making us to wonder what will happen when the actual season begins.
Chelsea legend Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, who scored 88 goals in 177 appearances for the Blues, is confident the new Chelsea striker will be a success and has backed him to shine.
He wrote on Twitter: “@AlvaroMorata can make a big impact at #CFC this season.
“A good old fashioned out-and-out striker who lives to score goals.”

Morata scored 20 goals in all competitions last season for Real Madrid, despite playing second-fiddle to Karim Benzema for the majority of the campaign. And it’s hard to understand why he’s being put under pressure even from Chelsea fans before the start of the season.
