Diego Costa is now close to having his Atletico Madrid dreams as reports from Spain claim Chelsea have agreed a £50million transfer fee with Atletico for Costa.

According to Spanish publication Radio Estadio, both clubs have reached an agreement for Costa to return to his former club after falling out with Chelsea manager Antonio Conte.

The report also reveals Atletico will pay £50m in total for his services that includes £9m in bonuses.

However, the Spanish side are not willing to pay the fee until Chelsea and Costa come to an agreement.

After absconding from the Chelsea camp without proper permission, Chelsea have fined Costa £300,000 for his behaviour that has seen him refuse to return to training.

It’s yet to be seen what Atletico would do with the striker as they are currently banned from signing new players until January.

Will a loan deal be on ground?
