Diego Costa’s time at Chelsea seems to be up, but the fact remains that he’s still a Chelsea player and hasn’t yet been sold to another club.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte doesn’t want the 28-year-old in his team anymore and has now devised a means that will accelerate his departure.

According to a report from the Telegraph, Chelsea are considering a personal fitness regime for Diego Costa as the striker’s departure from the Premier League champions edges closer.

Although Costa is yet to return for pre-season training but with Atletico Madrid and AC Milan hopeful of signing him this summer, Chelsea are prepared to send the 28-year-old a special training programme until a deal is agreed, the report claims.

Costa has been training alone in Brazil and Chelsea want to ensure he is fully fit to speed up the chances of a move away.

AC Milan and Atletico Madrid are the clubs to have been linked with Costa.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.

  1. I don’t want to see Diego Costa is going from Chelsea

From my own perspective, think Coasta should still be part the Chelsea team for the coming season, he still has a lot to offer. Remember Chelsea will in this season be into many competition’s ranging from premier League champions League and so on. So for me he should stay and fight for a regular shirt. Thanks.

  3. Pls conte go to round table negotiations with costs, give him some changes in Chelsea FC, he can always deliver good results in the pitch with Fabregas / nglo konte

  4. except He put end to all those crazy mentality character

  5. Costa almost distablised the team last season if not for Conte:s managerial skill. If you observe Costa was instrumental to the 13 straight win Chelsea had last season but when Costa wanted to leave for Chine he stop scoring until sometimes at the end of the season. Costa has the tendency to distablise the team

  6. Diego is not bigger than the team, many great players come and go,but the clubs remains. He can be so good without discipline he’s nothing. Let him go Conte,he will cost your job.

  7. Please, advice from experience manager. How to deal with stubborn player.

  8. i just love DIEGO COSTA…. he fought for the premier league and Conte should appreciate him for that …. chelsea is a sacking club and Conte would have been sacked if not costa….so he should stay…

No player is bigger than Chelsea f/c, not even Mourinho himself. Let Costa go, because we cannot entertain any stubborn in the team.

  13. There is an adage. if a father scolds his child with the right hands, he will use the left hands to draw him closer. by then he will have learnt his lessons and not repeat it again. So Conte is a father to Diego and do such.

I strongly believe that with the treatments Costa has received from conte…..he’s now a change man n besides Chelsea needs him to some how nocture Alvaro…

  15. Costa is a great player, he have gain many experiences in England than the up coming striker 24 ,EPL is not just like LaLiga, So we need Costa to stay before our up coming striker can gain some experience

  16. john kennedy | August 9, 2017 at 2:37 pm |

    coast should go

  17. I still have believes in him though, i don’t really like his behaviors at times but that’s not what i need….i wish he can still be chanced again.

I want costa to stay, their is no strong striker like Costa presently in EPL. Let conte call him in order and talk to him.

  19. Morata will not jelly in perfectly like Costa….Fabregas will not have a striker of Costa’s calibre to deliver those perfect passes…if you watched the per-season games, one could see that Fabregas’ passes had no taker at all…..Costa will be still effective this season for Chelsea

  20. what i think is Costa is the only strike who can give us good results,he’s a threat to the defenders, instead of the bad man [costa] to leave stamford bridge,i could say 23 should go.

  21. Morata he’s fine guys, just ask from the almighty fir Hazard to recover as soon as possible than you will see how Morata is capable of

  22. Let Costa go,his not liked player even by other players

  23. conte pls call back costa we need him, you can per him with morata. just give him some condition regarding his character n possible changes. i trust conte to work on his attitude n returned him back to first term squared beside we re not sure of out second eleven ooo..

I think his attitude is part of his career, it will be difficult to change
