Chelsea have endured a shaky start to the season and have recorded a vital win against Tottenham Hotspur after the 3-2 loss to Burnley.

There have been calls for Chelsea to strengthen the team, especially in the central midfield and wing-back positions.

Chelsea haven’t signed any player since bringing Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid, but Antonio Conte has revealed that the club is working hard to get new players into the team before the end of the transfer window.

“The club is trying its best in the transfer market to improve our squad but I must be happy,” Conte told reporters after the win against Tottenham.

“We only have to think on the pitch and not to give answers to people.”

He then revealed that he’s happy with his squad at the moment.

“This moment is not easy for us but I am very happy to have this group of players because they showed me great commitment, desire and will to improve after a great season.

“We only need to focus on the pitch, outside does not matter for us.”
