It was feared that Victor Moses will be unavailable for Chelsea’s Community Shield game against Arsenal after he received a red card for stimulation against Arsenal in the FA Cup.
The 26-year-old will be eligible to play in the Community Shield according to the English FA because the encounter is considered a friendly not a competitive game.
Conte said of Moses’ availability: “I think it is right to go game by game. On Sunday he will play against Arsenal, I am glad I can count on him. Against Burnley I will have 6 days to find the right solution. At the moment we don’t have a replacement for Moses.”
However, Moses will be unavailable for the Blues’ English Premier League opener against Burnley at Stamford Bridge on August 12.
