Antonio Conte has added Chelsea starlet Jake Clarke-Salter to the first-team squad.
The 19-year-old defender spent last season on loan with Bristol Rovers where he made 13 appearances for the League One outfit.
Clarke-Salter has been invited to train with Chelsea’s first-team players at the club’s training base in Cobham this summer and the youngster appears to have impressed Conte
The 19-year-old defender has been with Chelsea since 2006, and made his senior debut last year when he replaced Pedro in the Blues’ 4-0 defeat of Aston Villa in the Premier League.
He will wear the number 35 jersey, while Kyle Scott will wear the number 36 jersey.
