Arsenal legend Paul Merson doesn’t believe Arsenal star Mesut Ozil would break into the Chelsea first 11.
Ozil who signed for Arsenal in a then club-record £42.5million deal from Real Madrid in the summer of 2013, was at the time regarded as the best attacking midfielder in the game.
The 28-year-old’s stock has dropped and is keen on leaving the Gunners when his contract runs out this summer.
When asked if he would pick Ozil over Fabregas, he said on Sky Sports’ The Debate: “No chance, not when the big games come along.
“Fabregas makes things happen, he’s the one who turns up a lot more times for me.
“I’m a big fan of Fabregas.”
