Chelsea captain Gary Cahill has been unavailable for Chelsea games for a while now due to his red card on the opening day of the season.
In his stead, Antonio Rudiger has delivered and has won the trust of many Chelsea fans, and there are fears Cahill might just have lost his shirt to the German international.
It’s difficult to say if Cahill would walk back into the team now that he has served his suspension.
Speaking about the situation, Conte told the media today in his press conference: “For Gary he came back against Qarabag, he played very well with a good performance. I am pleased for him. I have another day to reflect and make the best decision for Sunday.”
On rotating the players, Conte said: “My rotation, the best goal and target is to make the best decision for every game and to win, to win is very important for us. The answer of my players in the last game was positive and pleased for the commitment of my players.
“Now there is a tough game against Arsenal. I have another day to check the physical condition and make the right decision for the game.”
