Chelsea striker Diego Costa won’t be playing for Chelsea in the Champions League this season following his omission from Chelsea’s Champions League squad which was submitted on Monday.

Costa has been pushing for a move back to Atletico Madrid throughout the summer with the striker AWOL in Brazil and refusing to return to Chelsea.

His inclusion in Chelsea’s Premier League squad gave fans some faint hope he could still play for Chelsea but his omission from Chelsea’s Champions League squad is a clear statement by Chelsea that Costa has no future at Chelsea anymore.
