Chelsea legend Didier Drogba has revealed his countryman Serge Aurier, who joined Tottenham from PSG on transfer deadline day, signed for the wrong team.

Aurier was linked with a move to Chelsea during the summer transfer window but Chelsea opted to sign Davide Zappacosta from Torino.

“I just spoke to him a few hours ago,” Drogba said on Sky Sports.

“He’s so happy to be in England and of course we’re going to help him.

“He’s my younger brother so I’m going to give him some tips.

“He plays for the wrong team!

“But I’m happy for him, very happy for his move.”
