Our Under-19s made a strong start to the UEFA Youth League by defeating the Qarabag Youth team 5-0 at Cobham earlier today.

The first half ended goalless but the Qarabag youth team couldn’t stop the young Blues in the second-half.

A red card for Qarabag’s Ibrahim Gadirzade shortly after the restart was followed by the opener from Callum Hudson-Odoi in the 54th minute, a perfectly flighted free-kick whipped into the top corner.

18-year-old Luke McCormick scored a hat-trick after Hudson-Oboi’s opener before Charlie Brown made it 5-0 in the 80th minute.

Chelsea U-19s will play Atletico Madrid youth team away in a fortnight.
