Chelsea will play Everton at home at the fourth-round of the League Cup after the 5-1 third-round victory over Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte admitted the game against Everton will be tough but he insists Chelsea are ready to play Everton.
“It is a tough game. You know very well that Everton are one of the best teams in this league. We are ready to face the next round and we have to continue in this way,” Conte said.
“We are a great club and for this reason every competition is important for us, we have to be competitive in every game. If the answer is like this tonight, I continue to give the chance to these players.
“Now it is difficult to prepare the starting XI against Everton, as you don’t know what will happen in this period. We must go game by game. When I have this type of answer I am very happy because I understand that every single player is ready to play.”
