Chelsea have submitted our Champions League squad and Chelsea striker Diego Costa failed to make the list as earlier speculated.

Despite making Chelsea’s Premier League squad, Costa won’t be playing Champions League football with Chelsea this season. This could mean Chelsea still hope to sell Costa when the transfer window opens in January and Chelsea do not want Costa to be cup-tied.

Chelsea record signing Alvaro Morata was included in the list alongside summer signings Danny Drinkwater, Davide Zappacosta, Antonio Rudiger, Willy Caballero and Tiemoue Bakayoko.

Here is Chelsea’s Champions League squad list:

Goalkeepers: Thibaut Courtois, Willy Caballero, Eduardo

Defenders: Davide Zappacosta, Victor Moses, Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz, Jake Clarke-Salter, Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen, Gary Cahill, Marcos Alonso, Kenedy.

Midfielders: N’Golo Kante, Kyle Scott, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Cesc Fabregas, Danny Drinkwater. Charly Musonda, Pedro, Willian, Eden Hazard.

Forwards: Michy Batshuayi, Alvaro Morata

  1. Pls, include Costa In champioms. League squad

  2. I am happy with the squad, all the best.

  3. The squad is fantastic but the strike force is not convincing enough, Costa should have been included

  4. Coach stupid for leaving out Costa.

  5. @Abayomi, So you expect they should go and start begging Costa to report to duty? Sure, he can’t be bigger than every other person in the club. He needs to grow up.

  6. Without Costa we have no striker stupid coach u have to walk away from our team go back to ur Italy. U have no experience.

    • Insulting a world class and EPL champion coach is very crude and rude. Indiscipline has cost Costa his football future in Europe and if caution is not taken, this may be the end of him.

  7. Makes business sense if plans are to let him go in the January ’18 window.

  8. You are not a true Chelsea fan.. You expect coach to go and beg a player?? Grow up man.

listen young man, you should tender an apology here for saying my title winning coach is stupid because of your ill behaved and arrogant Costa who doesn’t want to grow. We should always learn to give honour to who deserves it. “Chelsea all the way”

  19. He’s feeling too big for the club, he should have been left out totally.

  21. Costa shoul learn lesson fro balloteli, where is balloteli today.
