Alvaro Morata might not have scored or gotten an assist in today’s draw against Arsenal, but Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is still pleased with the contribution of the record Chelsea signing.

Conte said of his performance: “In my opinion Alvaro Morata played a really good game and I am very happy with his performance.

“In my opinion for me he played well for me and he had a lot of the ball, tried to send Willian, Pedro and wing-backs. I think he played a really good game.

“Sometimes we are focused on if a number nine scored or not. If he scores he has a good game, if he doesn’t then he does not. My vision has to be different, it has to be total and I am really happy for his performance.”

Morata has scored three goals and assisted two so far this season, and all has been with his head.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
