Chelsea boss Antonio Conte believes Chelsea were in total control against Leicester City on Saturday as we defeated the Foxes 2-1 at the King Power stadium.
Alvaro Morata opened the scoring for Chelsea four minutes before the break with a superb header before N’Golo Kante scored from outside the box in the second half. Jamie Vardy scored from the penalty spot following Thibaut Courtois’ foul on him in the area but Chelsea held on to claim all three points.
Conte believes Chelsea should have scored more goals.
“We must be delighted because we had a good performance. We played very well. We were in total control and could have scored more goals,” Conte said.
“After the penalty it changed the situation. They tried to push but despite this we had chances to improve the score. It is a good result and a good performance. After the international break it is not easy.
“I am happy for N’Golo (Kante). He performed very well but this is not news.”
