Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois gave the Chelsea community a huge scare after he collapsed in the second-half against Stoke City.

The Chelsea first-choice goalkeeper came out to punch a cross and collided with Peter Crouch and landed on the ground in a scary manner. He was still on the ground and looked unconscious at first, but regained his consciousness after some minutes.

Conte was asked by the media if he should have taken Courtois off after the incident, but he responded: “No, I don’t think so. I spoke to the doctor before the third and final substitution and I asked if he was okay, his answer was that he was okay and to make another substitution. Now the player is okay and is ready to play the next game in the Champions League.”

Courtois will be available for Wednesday’s Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid.
