Chelsea summer signing Tiemoue Bakayako is having a good season so far and it hasn’t taken him long to have a good partnership with N’Golo Kante in the middle of the park.
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte was asked of the future of the Kante-Bakayoko partnership, to which the Chelsea boss replied that there’s still room for improvement for Bakayako.
He told the press at Cobham: “I think that, in every situation in every game, you must consider it game by game and then make the best decision for the game. The most important thing for every team is to find the right balance.
“You must consider that, when you play against a strong team or a team of medium level or a team fighting round the relegation zone… you can make a different decision. Now Bakayoko is 100% fit and is playing very well.
“For sure, he has a lot of room for improvement. He’s a young player. Sometimes he alternates between positive and negative things. We have to work together to increase the positive things during the game but, for sure, he’s showing himself to be a really good and important player for us.”
