Diego Costa is keen on representing the Spain national team in the World Cup in Russia next year, but he’s currently out of the Spanish national team after his feud with Antonio Conte that has left him sidelined from the Spain national team.
Costa couldn’t complete his desired move to Atletico Madrid this summer and would need to play regular football if he must make it to the World Cup next year.
Costa has been advised to return to Chelsea and a source close to the Costa camp told Express Sport: “There will have to be a reconciliation between Diego and Chelsea.
“Diego will have to come back to England, because he does not want his career to end with him back in Brazil like this.”
According to Express Sport, he has also been told by those close to him to consider dropping the legal action he has begun against Chelsea for the way the club have handled the affair.
A friend said last night: “Diego has no grounds to sue Chelsea. But Chelsea do have grounds to sue Diego.”
