Chelsea defender was sent off during Chelsea’s Premier League clash with Arsenal on Sunday at Stamford which ended in a stalemate.

40 minutes before he was sent off, Luiz suffered a broken wrist after falling into the advertising hoardings at Stamford Bridge.

During a night out with Neymar, Luiz was seen with his wrist in a cast.

Luiz is suspended for Chelsea’s League Cup clash against Nottingham Forest with Premier League games against Stoke City and Manchester City but the 30-year-old will be eligible to play in Chelsea’s Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid next week.

Luiz has started light training at Cobham and would be hoping he is fit to play against Atletico Madrid next week.
