Everton midfielder Ross Barkley pulled out of a deal to join Chelseaon transfer deadline day despite undergoing a Chelsea medical.

Everton owner Farhad Moshiri has confirmed Barkley pulled out of a deal with Chelsea.

“The two clubs agreed a deal of £35m and personal terms were agreed and after the medical we heard from Ross Barkley’s agent that he had changed his mind,” Moshiri said.

“He told us he wanted to reconsider and stay with us for the time being.

“It was a big surprise but that is football.”

    Everton should be treated as Chelsea’s number one enemy if I remember john stones and lukaku cases!
