Chelsea are being investigated by FIFA for breaching their regulations over the signing youth players according to a report by Daily Mail.
According to the report by Daily Mail, FIFA have launched an inquiry into Chelsea’s conduct involving signing foreign players under the age 18.
Atletico Madrid are currently under a transfer ban for breaching FIFA rules over the signing of minors and Real Madrid were also banned from signing players for one transfer window last year for also breaching rules over the signing of minors.
Chelsea’s case isn’t believed to be as serious as those of Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid.
This is the third time Chelsea have been investigated by FIFA for breaching their rules involving minors in eight years.
A FIFA spokesman told Daily Mail: “As the investigation is on-going no further comment is possible for the time being.”
A Chelsea spokesman revealed to Daily Mail that Chelsea complies with all FIFA Statutes and Regulations when recruiting players.
