Eden Hazard has hailed Antonio Conte’s tactical prowess and has admitted it took him just one week to improve under the Italian.
Two seasons ago, Hazard looked out of form and lacked match fitness in Jose Mourinho’s era as Chelsea manager. But from the first day of the season under Conte, Hazard reached his previous heights as one of the best in the game.
Asked whether Conte’s training sessions improved him, Hazard told SFR Sport: “You have to. Even after a week I think I had progressed with him.
“But I think he’s shown not just at Chelsea but also at Juventus that he’s a good coach and I think he has some good years ahead of him.”
Hazard who hasn’t started for the Blues this season is expected to start Wednesday’s league cup game against Nottingham Forest.
