David Luiz got a red card against Arsenal in the dying minutes of the game and it led to Antonio Conte protesting the decision.

However, former Liverpool player and manager Graeme Souness has bashed Conte for defending Luiz’s reckless tackle on Sead Kolasinac.

“I’m struggling to understand what the manager is going on about there – waving an imaginary card about,” Souness told Sky Sports.

“It’s reckless. It’s a leg-breaker and a red card plus.”

However, Conte believes the incident wouldn’t have happened if Mike OIiver had blown for the foul on Luiz just before his tackle on Kolasinac.
