Kick-off: Wednesday, 27 September 2017. 18:45 GMT

Stadium: Wanda Metropolitano

It’s Match Day 2 in the Champions League as Chelsea will be away to Atletico Madrid as both teams fight for supremacy in what would be a tough Group C clash.

Both teams appear to be in form for this game. Atletico Madrid are second on the Spanish league table and a yet to lose a single game, winning their last three matches.

Chelsea are third on the Premier League table and have lost just once this season, an opening league day defeat to Burnley.

Chelsea top the group after beating Qarabag 6-0 in their opening Champions League group game, while Atletico Madrid drew goalless away at Roma.

Atletico Madrid have been difficult opponents for Chelsea in recent times as they are unbeaten in their past four competitive games against the Blues (W2 D2).

Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has taken Atletico to great heights as they have won 18 of their 23 Champions League home matches.

However, Chelsea are unbeaten in their past nine Champions League away games against Spanish opposition having won twice and drawn seven, drawing the past five.

Despite a tough group, you’d expect Chelsea to go through as the Blues have reached the knockout stages of the Champions League 13 times in their previous 14 appearances.

My Prediction: I’m backing Chelsea to at least get a draw at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium in what will be a very tough battle. Atletico 1 vs 2 Chelsea
