Alvaro Morata has had a good start to his Chelsea career despite his struggles against Arsenal on Sunday while Chelsea striker Diego Costa has refused to return to London despite helping the Blues win the Premier League title last season.
Former Chelsea assistant manager Ray Wilkins revealed he would rather have Costa in Chelsea than Morata but he also admitted both strikers should be in Chelsea.
”I see a better footballer in Morata – better control, movement and probably quicker,” Wilkins told Sky Sports.
“But when I look at the beast in Costa… he upsets people. I’d much rather have Costa than Morata. Why we haven’t got both I don’t know.
“He should be at Stamford Bridge and then Chelsea would have a proper strike force.
“I just can’t see why Costa is still in Brazil, playing five-a-side football on a beach with his mates.”
