Chelsea stars ended the international break with some very good displays and the likes of Alvaro Morata, Willian, Kasey Palmer and Tammy Abraham all scored for their respective countries.

Having scored the third goal in Spain’s 3-0 victory over Italy, Morata was on target for the second Spain game in succession as he scored a brace this time with Julen Lopetegui’s side maintaining their three-point lead at the top of the group courtesy of a thumping 8-0 win over Liechtenstein. Pedro started the game while Cesar Azpilicueta was an unused substitute.

Willian scored a powerful goal and it was Brazil’s only goal in their 1-1 draw against Colombia.

Summer signing Davide Zappacosta, was an emergency call-up for Italy’s international game and was a second-half substitute for Italy who beat Israel 1-0.

Zappacosta was introduced early in the second half and just four minutes after his introduction, Ciro Immobile scored the only goal of the game for the hosts, who remain second in the group.

For the England Under-21s, Fikayo Tomori made his debut while both Tammy Abraham and Kasey Palmer scored in their 3-0 win over Latvia at the Vitality Stadium.

Charly Musonda wasn’t involved in Belgium Under-21s drew 0-0 with Turkey.
