Sergio Aguero suffered a car crash in Amsterdam on Thursday and it has been confirmed that the striker suffered a broken rib in the car accident and will miss Saturday’s tie against Chelsea.

The 29-year-old Argentine who has started the season in blistering form was in a taxi on his way to the airport after watching singer Maluma perform when the accident happened.

Conte was asked if the absence of the Argentine will change his formation for Saturday’s clash, but he said “no”.

The Chelsea boss said in his press conference: “No. But, first of all, I’m sorry for this situation. I hope that his feeling is good but, usually when you have this kind of accident, it’s not good. But I think and hope he stays healthy.”
