Chelsea sold Nemanja Matic to Manchester United during the summer transfer window for the sum of £40 million.
While the signing has been hailed by many as a good one for Manchester United, a study has found that Chelsea actually sold Matic for more than his transfer value.
A study from the CIES Football Observatory stated that United overpaid by €20.1m (£18.5m) to sign Matic from Chelsea.
The Football Observatory uses various statistics, including age, goals and points won by the team, to calculate a value for a player.
How much valueable is Neymar??
Stupid Statement. It is up to the club to sell how much they want as long he was still in contract. How much you pay for Pogba? I don’t think Pogba was that much after seeing him in action las season. Totally not worth as what MU paid for Juventus.
Why Chelsea? Because they always can’t beat Chelsea…
