With Chelsea and Arsenal set to do battle at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, Arsene Wenger made nine changes for their Europa League outing against FC Koln.
Arsenal were down at half-time by 1-0 but scored three second-half goals to end the game 3-1.
And Wenger is happy to have rested his key players to face Chelsea and still get the result they wanted in the Europa League game against Koln.
“We want to do well in all competitions,” he said after the win at the Emirates.
“We had an experienced team out there today.
“Yes we made 9 changes, but they’re all top players.
“With this squad it’s easy for me to have a good team out.”
