Arsenal have lost their last five fixtures at Stamford Bridge, and the last time the Gunners were able to get a victory at Stamford Bridge was as far back in 2011.
Despite Arsenal’s poor form at the Bridge, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger expects his side can get a positive result at the Bridge this time around.
When asked if he expects his Arsenal players to get a positive result at Chelsea, Wenger said: “Of course, of course.
“I’m expecting it and I’m anticipating it.
“I believe that on the day everything went against us and that we were not sharp physically.
“It [the match against Liverpool] was three days before the end of the transfer window, that some had their heads half in and half out.
“It was special circumstances a bit, you have to consider that.”
