Andreas Christensen has matured as a player since spending two seasons on loan in German side Borussia Monchengladbach.
The 21-year-old is now back at his parent club and has taken to life immediately at Chelsea as he has been hailed for his composure in central defence.
One key thing Christensen brings to the defence is the ability to pass the ball out from the back even when under pressure. He did that to good effect at Borussia Monchengladbach and he’s now doing it for Chelsea.
Almost all his passes have been successful. And according to Squawka, Christensen has misplaced just 6 passes in 253 minutes of football for Chelsea this season.
He has attempted 158 passes and completed 152. In the 6-0 victory against Qarabag, Christensen attempted 88 passes and completed 86.
