It’s a tricky situation now for Chelsea striker Diego Costa as he wasn’t able to secure an exit from Chelsea before the close of the transfer window.

Although the transfer window in England concluded on Thursday night, the Spanish window remains open until midnight on Friday.

It was believed that Costa would sign for Atletico Madrid this summer and join Everton on loan due to the transfer ban hit on the Spanish giants.

Atletico are the only club keen on signing the 28-year-old and Costa is said to have turned down other transfer offers.

Costa is still far from Stamford Bridge and has until midnight today to complete a move to Atletico and also find a club to join on loan. He can’t join Everton anymore as the Premier League transfer window closed on Thursday night.

Can Costa seal his dream move? Time is ticking. And he has to make his move if he must play for Spain in the World Cup next year.
