Charly Musonda is expected to play for Chelsea in the league cup game against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday, and another youngster who’s expected to feature in that game is Kenedy who hasn’t tasted any piece of football action this season.
When asked if Musonda will start, Conte refused to answer the question, telling the press that they would know tomorrow (Wednesday).
With a smile on his face, he said: “I’d like to tell you tomorrow. For sure tomorrow it could be a good opportunity for Charly, for Musonda and for Kenedy it is the same.”
He added: “I think the next game could be a good opportunity to give a chance to some players who didn’t play a lot. It could be a good opportunity.”
Speaking on Kenedy’s mistake in China, Conte said: “I think he knows very well what happened in China. “He made a mistake but I think everyone in life makes mistakes.
“But now he is focused and working very well. He understands his mistake and he is ready to play.”
