Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has been persistently linked with a return to his homeland despite being just over a year into his tenure at Stamford Bridge.
Conte signed a new contract with Chelsea during the summer, but only his wages were increased, as the Italian chose not to extend his time at the club, and this has further fuelled rumours of a return to Italy.
In recent times, AC Milan have been strongly linked with a move for the Chelsea boss, but the Italian giants have released a statement via their director of football, Massimiliano Mirabelli denying rumours linking them with Conte.
“We already have a manager and we are not thinking of Conte nor about other managers,” he told Radio Rossonera.
Conte’s current deal will run out in the summer of 2019.
