Chelsea lost our third league game of the season following the 2-1 loss at Crystal Palace on Saturday. It was a second successive defeat following the 1-0 loss to Manchester City, leaving the Blues nine points adrift of the leaders after eight games.
Marcos Alonso admits Chelsea cannot afford to lose any games this season if we are to challenge for the Premier League title.
“We’ve lost a lot of points already. We cannot lose any more games,” Alonso said.
“It’ll obviously be very hard. There are teams playing very good football and there so many games still to come.
“So we have to think game by game. We will focus now on the Champions League, and an important game, and then have time to get ready for Watford and the Premier League (on Saturday).”
