Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata has pulled out from Spain’s squad for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Albania and Israel.

The 24-year-old picked up the injury in the first-half of Chelsea’s 1-0 defeat to Manchester City on Saturday.

Morata had tests on his hamstring on Monday in Madrid which revealed he has suffered a grade two hamstring strain.

Chelsea are expecting the striker to return for Chelsea’s match against Crystal Palace and Roma after the international break.
