Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko crashed his £150,000 Mercedes on his way home from training in September.

The 23-year-old admits the first few weeks were difficult driving on the left-hand side of the road in England but insists he pays more attention now.

“Yeah, now everything is fine. I pay more attention,” Bakayoko told The Sun.

“It’s not difficult driving in England – it’s the first few weeks that are the most difficult – but I’m a good driver. It won’t be a problem.

“The most important thing is that no one was seriously hurt. No great harm was done.

“To be honest, I don’t really want to talk about it. I’ve moved on from that, and it’s something I’ve tried to forget.

“It was an episode I’d rather not talk about, and these things happen in life, but I’ll pay more attention in future.”
