Chelsea goalkeeper Willy Caballero was impressive with a string of excellent saves in Chelsea’s 2-1 Carabao Cup victory over Everton on Wednesday night.
Caballero revealed after the game that he was happy with Chelsea’s performance against Everton but also insists he has now focused on the next game (a Premier League game against Bournemouth).
“Fortunately, we scored the second goal in the last minute and this qualified us,” Caballero said as quoted on Chelsea’s official website.
“We conceded again in the last second, but we kept the ball after that and didn’t let them have a last chance in our box. We go through and we are waiting now for the draw. We are really happy for our performance.
“It’s always important to win, in every cup, every trophy, every game. At a big club it’s always important to win, and win again, and win again.
“We don’t have enough time to think very hard about if we play very well. We have to think quickly and switch because the next game is in two days, so now we are focused on the Premier League.”
