Chelsea are competing in four different competitions this season and the squad seems a bit thin at the moment.
The Blues are having injury crisis with Danny Drinkwater, N’Golo Kante and Victor Moses all out injured. Alvaro Morata sat out two weeks and is in contention for a place tomorrow.
Conte was asked which of the competitions he would prioritise, but the Italian revealed that he’s taking it game by game.
He told the media: “Honestly I think we have to go game by game. We are only in October and not in March. Now it’s impossible to take a decision and take a risk… Now, for us, it’s important to go game by game. The situation is difficult.
“We have to play every three days, and it’s not simple. Also because, in this moment, we are a ‘thin’ and we have to play always the same players. Honestly, there is this type of risk to have other injuries.
“I hope not. But the best way, now, for us is to follow and go game by game, and then to decide every game which is the best formation, and sometimes to take risks or not about our players.”
