Chelsea came from 2-1 behind to beat Watford 4-2 at Stamford Bridge, with Michy Batshuayi scoring twice after replacing Alvaro Morata on the hour mark.
Willian and Zappacosta were also impressive after coming on from the bench.
Sky Sports pundit Alan Pardew has hailed Chelsea boss Antonio Conte for getting his changes right with the Blues 2-1 behind.
“You just have to say the subs that came off the bench and the manager did a good job second half because they were in a big hole,” Pardew told Sky Sports.
“Watford looked like this game should have been buried for them.
“If you were (Marco) Silva you would be disappointed to get nothing out of the game.
“But the subs changed it, Willian as well, Batshuayi who has just picked up man of the match as a sub.
“That was a massive little fillet for the manager as well.
“He’ll get confidence from that, putting subs on and them making an impact like that.”
