Chelsea wonderkid Callum Hudson-Odoi has been a shining light in the Chelsea academy for some time now, and the youngster is highly rated at Stamford Bridge and is seen as one for the future.
The 16-year-old who is currently playing for England in the U17 World Cup has revealed that Eden Hazard is his hero and he looks up to the Chelsea star.
Hudson-Odoi and Hazard share similar style of play and the youngster admits he’s been learning from the Chelsea star.
Speaking to FIFA.com, Hudson-Odoi said: “Eden Hazard [is my hero] because his style of play is a lot like mine. He’s my inspiration.
“You learn a lot [at Chelsea] because you get a different coach every year. One thing that never changes, though, is the mentality, namely that we’re there to score goals and finish moves off.
“Team spirit was a very important aspect. You’re never out there on your own – you can only win as a team. That was an important lesson.
“I’ve trained quite a few times with the seniors, which is a real help and a source of motivation when it comes to what to aim for on a regular basis.”
