Chelsea were without N’Golo Kante and Alvaro Morata against Crystal Palace on Saturday, and Nigeria international Victor Moses also got a hamstring injury in that game.
With three key players out injured, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has admitted that it hasn’t been easy and the team is in need of depth.
Asked if he needs more strength in depth to compete on all fronts this season, Conte said: “I think that we know very well which is our situation.
“For sure when there are injuries of this type, it is very difficult for us. There is this situation and we must be very good to overcome and do our best.
“It is not simple when you don’t have players like Morata, Kante and now Moses.”
