N’Golo Kante got injured while on international duty with France, and it seems the 26-year-old would be out for at least a month.
Conte has now confirmed that Kante might not be fit for the Premier League fixture against Jose Mourinho’s side at Stamford Bridge on November 5.
“[Going by] the previous scan maybe….around 20 days…25 days,” said Conte.
“As you know very well in this situation, you must pay attention and do another scan after one week to understand the situation to see if the scan is better than before but for sure it’s a big loss.
“Kante, we are going to do a scan next week to check his situation, if he is improving. But for sure it’s a hamstring problem and this is a big loss for us.
“You know very well the importance of Kante in our team. We don’t have another player with the same characteristics.
“We only have [Tiemoue] Bakayoko and [Cesc] Fabregas available.”
