N’Golo Kante picked up an injury while on international duty with France, and this affected the Chelsea midfield as the France international was sourly missed.

Kante has now resumed training and Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has confirmed he will feature against Roma in the Champions League game on Wednesday night.

Speaking on Kante’s absence, Conte said: “For sure it is not simple for us to play without N’Golo because he is an important player for us.

“Now the team is used to playing without him but I hope to see him back very soon with us.

“There are players with the same characteristics but N’Golo is a really good player, and he is becoming a top player.”
