Michy Batshuayi ran the show today after replacing Alvaro Morata with 30 minutes left to go. He put on a fine display and scored a brace to help Chelsea overcome a difficult Watford side that were 2-1 up just after the restart.
Conte has told Batshuayi to continue to work hard and improve.
“It was good for Michy to score two goals,” Conte told Sky Sports after the match.
“He had an impact in the game and I’m very happy for him.
“I think it’s important always to think for the team not just for himself, or myself. We have to think for the team.
“The goals were important for the team and important for the confidence, but Michy has to continue to work this way and show with every chance he deserves to play.”
